The Raw Cuts

Monday and Tuesday nights belong to new and upcoming DJs. Sign up, get approved, and play our booth and sound to a real crowd.

Step 1: Make your DJ profile: Sign up as a DJ with your stage name, a photo, up to five styles and a link to a mix. It takes about ten minutes.
Step 2: Get approved: Our events director listens to your mix and approves new profiles, usually within a week.
Step 3: Pick a set: Approved DJs see every open Raw Cuts set on Monday and Tuesday nights and submit for the ones they want. You hear back before the night.
Step 4: Play the room: Bring your music on USB (rekordbox) and your headphones. The booth, the sound and the crowd are ours.
Is it paid?: No. The Raw Cuts is a volunteer slot for new and upcoming DJs: you get time on a club system in front of a real crowd, not a fee.
Who can play?: DJs 21 and over who are starting out or building a following. No minimum experience, but send us a mix that shows what you play.
How long is a set?: About an hour and forty minutes. There are three sets each night: 9:00 – 10:40 PM, 10:40 PM – 12:20 AM, 12:20 – 2:00 AM.
Can I play again?: Yes. Submit for more nights any time. DJs who build a crowd at The Raw Cuts are who we look to for openers on Friday and Saturday.
